Geoff Loftus is\u00a0the author of the thrillers: Murderous Spirit<\/em>,\u00a0Dark Mirage<\/strong><\/em>, The Last Thing<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0Dangerous \"GeoffPurpose<\/strong>,<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0No Traveler Returns,\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Fracture of the Soul,<\/strong><\/em> Casual Slaughters, Turn From Evil,<\/strong><\/em> Purgatory, <\/strong><\/em>The Devil’s Vacation, <\/strong><\/em>and coming in 2026, Repentance<\/strong><\/em> (all Jack Tyrrell novels) as well as\u00a0Double Blind<\/em><\/strong>, Engaged to Kill<\/strong><\/em>, and The Dark Saint<\/em><\/strong> (all from Saugatuck Books).<\/p>\n

Geoff’s\u00a0also a lifelong history buff and the author of LEAD LIKE IKE: Ten Business Strategies from the CEO of D-Day<\/i><\/b>, published by Thomas Nelson, Inc.\u00a0In October 2010, Geoff\u00a0was privileged to be the Keynote Speaker at the Eisenhower Legacy Dinner, which was held at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library.<\/p>\n

A regular contributor to Forbes.com from 2010 to 2018, Geoff has\u00a0been gainfully employed in business journalism and corporate communications for more than a quarter-century. Working both freelance and on-staff, he has\u00a0worked for Cond\u00e9 Nast, Deloitte Consulting, and Fairchild Publications, as well as nonprofit organizations such as The Conference Board and the Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals, where he\u00a0was Vice President, Communications.<\/p>\n

Geoff has addressed large audiences from Fortune 500 companies on numerous business topics. And he’s\u00a0been interviewed by ABC News, CNBC, Fortune<\/i>, The New York Times<\/i>, The Wall Street Journal<\/i>, and Investor’s Business Daily<\/i>, in addition to\u00a0Compliance Week<\/i>, Directors & Boards<\/i>, and Corporate Boards<\/i>. Geoff was Managing Editor of\u00a0Across the Board<\/i> (later known as The Conference Board Review<\/i>), a monthly business magazine of thought and opinion at The Conference Board, and he was the first director of The Conference Board’s website, which won numerous awards upon its launch.<\/p>\n

Like many writers, Geoff once dreamed of writing the great American novel but gave that up in an attempt to write the great American screenplay. The closest he came to that lofty achievement was writing Hero in the Family<\/i> with John Drimmer for The Wonderful World of Disney<\/i> on ABC. Geoff has\u00a0been a member of the Writers Guild of America, East for more than thirty years.<\/p>\n

Geoff\u00a0went to\u00a0Fordham Prep<\/a> \u2014 the Jesuit high school in the Bronx and then to\u00a0Purchase College, State University of New York<\/a>.\u00a0Today, he\u00a0lives in Scarsdale, New York, with his\u00a0wife Margy.<\/p>\n
